Does anyone know where I can buy good quality men’s dress socks?
I used to buy them from Lands End, but my recent purchases have proven they are no longer concerned about quality.
Long ago, they used to sell merino wool socks, and I would buy them in the largest size. For several washings they would be too big, but then they would eventually shrink and become not only the right size, but just the right thickness. They’ve lasted several years.
The new ones shrink from way too big to way too small in the first wash, and are thin to boot.
So, before I go on some expensive quest trying socks, can anyone recommend some? Looking for men’s over-the-calf dress socks in the usual dark colors.
