It’s final, the tickets are purchased and I’m going to Gnomedex. I have Rick Klau’s blog to thank for this, as that’s where I first heard of Gnomedex.
This is the part where I should be talking about how great it will be, and how great it was last year, but since I haven’t been before I can’t really do that. Everything I read is encouraging, although a bit vague. I’m reminded of the days when I first had an Apple II computer, and half the ads in the computer magazines made absolutely no sense – you couldn’t tell what they were advertising. Gnomedex is a little like that, it’s a bit challenging to really describe it. But, like those old computer ads, it’s compelling.
I’m really looking forward to attending it!
