Over on the Ad++ Blog, Adalbert talks about how Google Alerts suck. I’d have to say I mostly agree, although part of it comes from the difficulty of crafting a decent search string. But sometimes that’s not enough – one search I’ve got going simply returns anything with “the” in it. Yep, a lot of returns, more than you might think ;-)
It would sure be nice if they would allow one to use the advanced search tools when creating alerts.
Until then, I’m sticking with Copernic.
